Europe’s Eastern Partners: Building a Development Agenda for Resilience

The year 2020 puts the spotlight on the future architecture of the Eastern Partnership (EaP). Defining the future deliverables for the period after 2020 will make an important contribution to the region’s resiliency. To inform about these debates, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, together with KfW Development Bank and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, organises this conference during the German Presidency of the European Union.

Our conference brings to the fore a developmental agenda focusing on three timely and pertinent issues: i) building stronger economies anchored in regional & global value chains through ii) better multi-level governance and iii) continuous engagement of civil society. More than 100 participants from Germany, EU institutions, and change agents from the EaP region will share their experience and ideas.
