Evaluation

Evaluation stands for systematic, objective analysis and assessment: We evaluate German Financial Cooperation activities for their impacts that cannot be observed until a project has been largely completed. Ex post evaluations are therefore of crucial importance in our work. They examine whether a project has achieved its objectives, what worked well and what did not and why. Evaluations serve the purpose of rendering account of the activities of KfW Entwicklungsbank. And they help us to draw lessons from our experiences, to design and manage new projects even better and to allocate resources even more efficiently.
